Speaker wire color code ?
Quick question... I'm replacing the tweeters on my 2004 C5. In my search I read the left front was, '+' = tan and '-' = gray. Well in pulling the left front I'm seeing a black/red stripe and black/green stripe. The red stripe has the smaller female spade and the green stripe has the larger female spade. Which one is positive and which is negative? Also what is the right front color code?

C5 schematics can be found HERE. Schem #4 has the speaker wires.
If your colors don't match
I'd just pull the spades off ot the OEM's, slide them on to the new speakers, and call it a day
