Default new guy sub question

got an o3 Z, am in the process of soundproofing car, have a sub box in the center compartment of the trunk with two 10" Alpines....Question: How would an insulated trunk divider affect the bass? I have seen sub set ups in the trunks of some cars, and they seem to sound ok. I am looking to reduce road noise, and the trunk dividers I am told work well for that...
Thanks!
Jeff

If you deaden the whole back of the car really well you will have a dramatic reduction in road noise and the subs will sound better. Our C6 Vert is being setup as an audio demo, HPDE, Solo, cruiser and is remarkably quite in the rear now

PM or email me if you want advice on doing this very well.

Thanks, have a great day!
