Default aftermarket amp with factory bose question

ok..... i have a C5 vette and am trying to keep the system simple and some what inexpensive...... i want to keep the factory bose speakers
and just change out the HU add an amp for the bose and an amp for the sub addition. are the factory bose 2 ohm or 4 ohm ? what amp will make those rock ? 2 channel or 4 channel and how large an amp to push the bose , especially if they are 2 ohm ? and..... do i need to add anything such as a cap to pull the low tones out of the bose speakers or can it all be done via the amp ? i want the system to hit hard for rock music.... don't really need the thumping rap sound...... so i was thinking a single
10" woofer in the rear hatch.
thanks for any advice or help.

read the c5 faq

you can easily add a 4 ch amp to oem bose radio and put some new speakers in doors and a sub in the back, i think thats what u are trying to ask

it requires nothing special
