Can someone tell me what they think about the Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT as an after market replacement in a 2005 C6 with Sirius? Anyone have this unit installed in there 2005?

I just upgraded my AVIC-Z2 (Updated to Z3) to the new Z110BT, in my 06' and I love it. As usual did the work my self, not hard at all. It is a great head unit, well worth it!
I am not using Sirius with mine, so I can't speak to that. I went with HD radio, and my iPod.

Thanks for the info. Do you have HUD? If so, can you see the info from the radio on it?

Yes my car does have the HUD.
At this time, it is not possible to interface an aftermarket stereo with the HUD like the factory setup. Though some strides have been made in that regard. Recently there was a post where a guy managed to build a custom interface for radar detectors in the HUD (still in the development phase). So perhaps in the future, who knows...
Hi,
Does this unit need a trim piece around the unit to fill the hole left by the original radio in the console? I have a 2005 with regular radio, no navigation. If YES, where can I get such trim piece? Thanks!
