Considering these for my Vert. I already have a DNX 6140 installed. Plan on abandoning the rears all together since I almost always have the top down. Any opinions on these.. I am assuming depth is not going to be an issue. Thanks

Alpine PDX-4.150
ALPINE SPX-17PRO
Assuming you plan to replace the OEM Bose speakers with the SPX-17PRO's, you may want to hold off disconnecting your rears....especially if you do not plan to add subwoffer. The rears will be driven off the 6140 HU so you don't need to use up 2 of the channels on your PDX 4.1 amp. Could utilize them when you want to install subs. Just a thought.
I would swap out the rears for a subs in a second if anyone with a vert has had positive results.. In the mean time I will just leave the rears as you suggest. Thanks
What's going on Scott. You've got some nice stuff for sale by the way.
Thanks
Yeah, its amazing the amount of sheit you can acquire in a short period of time. I get bored with one set up on the quest for great sound on a budget.
A great way to sample a lot of stuff in your own environment.
But, it does take time to R/R all the goods.
