Default Issue with dnx 6140 install

Hi, just about finished with this install and I have a couple problems that I would like to resolve prior to buttoning everything back up.

1. I am getting an "Authorization Error", which according to the manual :

"Connecion to the IPOD has failed. Remove the IPOD and reconnect it. The unit does not support the IPOD. See IPODs that can be connected to this unit".

I have a video IPOD which supposedly is supposed to work. I get audio when playing music, as well as audio when playing video. I can only change songs, artists etc... with the IPOD. No controls work on the head unit when using the IPOD. I would like to view video as well hopefully control the IPOD via the touchscreen.

2. The video of the rear camera is working but the picture is reversed. I lost the book if there was one that came with the unit. The camera is a BOYO VTL-400.

Thanks in advance. R/ Al

I talked with Kenwood this morning. The IPOD can be resolved they say by tapping the square box on the screen which will make the IPOD screen disply on the screen.

Also the camera screen can be flipped by going into the A/V setup, going into screen 2 and sellecting mirror image.

We'll see when I get home from work. R/ Al
