Default Low cost, sweet sounding upgrade packages:)

I am testing many options right now but just wanted to let you know of a really killer setup that is very low in cost, very high in performance, in stock and ready to ship

Fronts, ID CTX65cs components, the small tweeter will be a pretty easy A pillar install, you really want to do this!!!!!

If you want to step up a bit higher, the XS is a very fine system, neo magnets, super low weight, etc......and the very adjustable crossover should allow better results than most any other system for those wanting to put the tweeters in the doors. I will be fully testing them there in my C6 soon. Of course the tweeters are always best in the pillars, properly aimed, I will be providing custom build A pillars for these.

Rears, though I normally do not use rears at all for those wanting them, these will do very well even with some pretty high end front speakers.
ID CTX5 ( I am installing them in my Vette and GMC dually rear locations for testing and demo use for those that want to hear them, get reports back, etc, I already know they are great for this use

Sub(s) IDQ or ID and I have another brand made by them, all great(not many stocked yet except the other branded ones)

Amps, any ID amp, and another brand, nothing but very good gear will be sold here. I have a good inventory on certain ones, easy to get the others when needed.

Deadening, as good as the best there is, period! The more gear you get, the better the deadening prices, install materials for the system as well once I get that all sorted out. I will put together the deadening kit to meet your exact system, performance, mods, whatever needs

I can also supply baffles, door filler plates(much needed on C6 cars), aluminum channels to stiffen door skins so less mat is needed, etc....I am just getting this going but can fill orders really soon.

My package prices are very good, you must contact me to get a quote please

-----------

I can sell individual items from above but again, the more you order the better deal you get

-----------

NOTE: I am exceptionally busy with my regular business, the Vette and now GM truck/SUV packages. I am doing this because I just want to help you guys our and because I own the vehicles and am doing the work to make them great, I want to offer you the same systems, etc and honestly, so I can write off more of my toys

-----------

Thanks, have a great day
Rick

UPDATE:

The CTX65cs system is a great bargain in sound quality, directly comparable to some very expensive component sets. The tweeter is very small and will allow easy modification to A pillars for a great stage height and realistic sound stage. Once you hear properly pillar mounted tweeters you will wonder why any manf puts them in the doors!!!!!
This is a superb system, just do not let the low cost drive you away

--------------------

The next level up, the XS series is for those wanting one of the best sounding midbass speakers made, they have neo magnet so it saves over 2 lbs per midbass as a great added bonus!

Since the tweeter is quite large I talked to the guys at ID and we came up with a nice solution, the XS tweeter is brighter and louder by design so it can work better in doors, etc(the crossover is very tunable to get the best stock location sound possible) but may be a bit bright mounted in A pillars.

Solution, I am installing the CTX65cs tweeters, that require very little work to install, in my C6 A pillars to try them out as suggested by the guys as a great solution as a bit more laid back, since mounted up high more easily heard. THESE are great sounding tweeters, I already know that and will work very well with the XS mids for this application

I will be receiving speaker sets with the XS mid and CTX65cs tweeters, some with XS crossovers for those wanting to use 2 channels of amp power, for those wanting my favorite setup, bi amped with 4 channels, just the speakers alone will be ordered.

-------------

I will be offering pre installed pillar mounted tweeters with the systems, if using the CTX or XS mid and their crossovers I will preset them to the best settings for you. If going the active route with a 4 channel amp I will setup the amp for the best use as well(if you order the amps I will be offering that is or letting you know what to set your amp, HU, external crossover, etc...as required)

-------------

I will also be offering Alumalite speaker baffles, super dense and none resonate, super low in weight, per cut to fit the speakers in the proper locations. I will also be offering the same in access hole door filler panels as this greatly reduces road noise as well as stiffens the door and air space for more accurate midbass reproduction.

-------------

I have my C6 here for all the testing, some C5 pillars and will be picking up a C5 door soon as well for to complete the design of the baffles, etc as needed.

Later, as things progress, I will work more on the C4 and earlier cars.

-------------

I am really excited to bring to you a great audio upgrade packages, properly engineered for a very good sounding system and at a very reasonable cost, no Covette tax here

-------------

Rick
