swapping out sub in c6, any advice?
i have a 05 non-bose system,one of my subs blew so im looking to replace it, i seen that pioneer,kenwood,earthquake,and kicker all have 8 inch shallow mount subs, would any of these be better sounding then the stock subs, or would the stock amp not power these. has anyone installed any of these and how do they sound, and im also assuming the stock subs are 2 ohm?

It's not that the oem is that good, it's just sooooo hard to replace one of the DOOR SUBS with an aftermarket brand speaker that would sound AS good for anywhere near the same $$$.
If someone needs a replacement door sub a WTB thread here would be a good idea, there are plenty of take-offs out there, many almost new
