Default Plastic carpet panels.

Wondering how you remove the plastic panels between the door and carpet on the floor? Do you just pull them up and a clip pops up? I pulled mine and am scared I will rip them apart. I can see some discoloring in one area when I lift telling me that is where it is held on. Thanks.

I just did this yesterday, and yes they do just pull up. You have to pull fairly hard, and there are built-in clips on the underside of the panels that are stationary so you don't have to worry about aligning them when you put them back in. Don't worry, as long as you pull with even pressure on them you'll be fine

What I do is pull along them until you can feel right where the resistance is so you're pulling up at the point where the clip is connected. That way you don't end up bending the plastic around the point of the clips. But really those rocker trim pieces come right up no trouble at all, snap back into place easily as well.

Start pulling up at the rear most end, the clips will release one at a time. Once it's at about 30* start pulling towards the rear of the car, there's one clip facing forward.
