Extra wire on my GMAH 24B
I just finished wiring my Jensen wiring harness using the RAP 18 and GMAH 24B and ended up having the Orange Illumination wire left over on the RAP 18 side.
Is this normal or doess this wire tap in somewhere? All other wires are present and accounted for. I haven't found anything on the forum addressing this although it's probably here somewhere.

Orange or orange/white wires on the adapter interface are not used. If your new radio has one it should be connected to the gray wire at the traction control button (C6) if you want your HU to dim with the interior lights.

Thanks. I figured it must not be used but wanted to be sure. I don't think the HU has one but will double check before installing this tomorrow. If would be nice though for the HU to dim with everything else. Didn't consider that when looking for a replacement.
