C5 Double Din Install ??
Any thing i need to know about the wiring or special wires to tap anything into?
Best place to put Xm box and then the wire
Best place to put navigation wire, I heard you can actually install it on top of the headunit?
How do I wire it so i can drive with video on and be able to change directions while driving!
Thank you for all responses!
If keeping the stock speakers get something like this, if adding new amp/speakers get GMRAP to retain Retained Accessory Power, or if you don't care about R.A.P. just wire power from accessory pigtail in passenger floor.
Illumination, VSS wires are not present at radio harness. Reverse wire isn't inside dash anywhere. All are available, just not at the radio. See FAQ thread.
Lots of room above the passengers feet for boxes. Pull down flat plastic panel with light mounted on it.
Nav antenna isn't as picky as sat radio, just put it as high as possible if mounted inside dash. I had my sirius antenna sitting on top of the rear bumper (inside fascia) and it worked pretty good.
Bypass depends on unit being installed. AVIC411.com for pioneers, most kenwoods just need the parking brake wire grounded.
