I just got two of these subs (new) and am now contemplating what type
of box I want to put them in my 1978 coupe.........Anyone running a pair of 10" DVC subs? and any pics of your install would be greatly appreciated...thanks.
I had one with a hifonics Z600 (600W RMS 900 Peak) amp in a 1.7cu ft sealed box for SQ. It could still make your ears go in pain on low notes from the trunk of my cougar. A friend bought it and put it in his 94 jimmy in the same box with same amp, and didnt even tweak it and hit a 134 off a linear x meter on the dash. I would say 140 or so if he had adjusted the gains and eq right and put it in a ported box. They sound really good and I would have a cargo area full of them if it were up to me.
edit: oh yea, the rcas went bad on the amp and the weekend he didnt have it hooked up while the amp was in the shop the speaker and box got jacked
