Remote Start wire for Alarms
Ok I had my Compustar alarm with remote start installed on my C5 a few months back. The guy installed the engine sensing wire on one of the injector wires. I found out about it about a week later and I honestly don't want to bother with going back there. Everything else works great, but well, my remote start doesn't work since I disconnected the wire. Where are you guys putting the engine started sensing wire?

should have gotten a remote start with a virtual tach 
i haven't done a c5 in a while, but i believe the tach wire is the white wire. You can just find the wire on that is common on all 8

I installed my compustar on my c5 and used an injector wire. There is no problem doing like this. Is your car a manual transmission or an auto? If its an auto you can program the remote start for tachless. If you have a manual then you will need to hook up the tach wire back up to the injector wire.
