Default Speaker noise.

Installed my Kenwood 6960 system. Installer hooked up back stock speakers. I think he went through the stock bose amp. When there is little to no volume you can here alot of feedback / static through them. Very annoying. Is it the stock amp or the bad speakers, or both? Also had front focal speakers installed with Kenwood amp powering them. When I hit the brakes or use the turning signals at low volume I can here it through the speakers. Bad ground? Last of all I have installed (2) different sirius systems on this car. I have had the antennas mounted everywhere from inside to dead center outside. Still get the annoying "Aquiring signal". Are these cars just prone to bad satelitte radio? I have (2) other cars that run it flawlessly. Thanks.

Could be a ground issue, yes. Also could be an issue of noise introduced if the installer used the speaker level outputs from the Kenwood to the Bose amp. Most installers probably would because they don't know any better so you're sending an amplified signal to an amplifier, which is a combo destined for noise. They should have used the RCA outputs from the head.

Sirius is notoriously difficult in these cars. First of all Sirius is notoriously difficult period, even in a factory install, but then you combine the plastic body panels of our cars where they can't use it as an antenna and it makes it all the worse.
