dnx7140 question?
at night, the navigation display is way to bright. i turned down the contrast, brightness and color....did not change the nav display. is there a trick to this? and yes, it is set to auto and yes, it is on night mode because the background is black.

Two things you can check -
1. make sure your dimmer wire is hooked up correctly i.e there is a change in the display brightness when your lights are on, and off
2. there are brightness option available in both day and night settings of the headunit - meaning you can adjust the brightness, color, contrast when the lights are both on and off - assuming your dimmer is hooked up correctly.
