Default Help with Alpine nav unit please

I have a IVA-W203 and the NVE-P1 in a 2001 ZO6. I have had this installed for around a year with no issues. Yesterday the nav function quit working. Navigation no longer shows up as a source. I have tried to reset both units with no luck. I also dont see a led lit on thenav units left side. Any ideas? Thanks

did you have the battery on a tender? I had this happen one time with my Kenwood after the battery went dead. Once i fully charged the battery the unit came back on.

I did have a tender on it all winter. When I tried to start the car it was totally dead. The redtop would not take a charge anymore. it was 3 years old. When I took it out it was real hot. Must have had a short in it. Would that have killed my nav unit? Thanks

The alpine does have a seperate nav unit. it docks in the head unit. I put a new battery in the car same problem.

Had this happen once. I ejected the Nav unit and hit it's reset button. It re-booted and was good to go.
