Default Microphone location

Hey guys,

Getting a head unit installed (Pioneer Z120BT) in my wife's 2007 convertible in a couple of weeks and was wondering where you guys have been mounting the bluetooth microphone.
The popular locations seem to be in the upper (left of driver) A-Pillar or the upper (right of driver) rear-view mirror.
Just wondering from your experiences which locations seems to offer the best quality?

Thanks in advance,

Davor

Tucked mine under the bottom of the console, beside the driver's right leg. Out of the way, inconspicuous, no holes, and seems to work well in a coupe.

All of my cars have the microphone to the left of the rear view mirror and everyone tells me that the sound is crystal clear. I would never recommend near the console given engine and tranny noise.

On my 2008 coupe I mounted mine on the top of the drivers pillar.

Same here. Just to the left of the mirror.
