Default C6 Interior Trim Removal

Is there a post or thread that provides instructions on how to safely remove all the C6 interior carpet, trim, etc. to install sound deadening material? I have been searching the better part of the afternoon and cannot find such a post.

Many thanks in advance.

Update: I have continued to search for information and found a thread on door panel removal. Am still looking for a "how to" for the removal of the hatch compartment panels, carpet, storage bins, etc.

Any comments or suggestions are appreciated.

Rear hatch area panels and carpet are so easy most people don't bother taking pics.

For the panels around the rear speakers, click here.

Seat mountss are pretty much the same as in C5, good instructions for that are here.

The carpet is mostly just held down by gravity

Center console instructions are in the main FAQ thread over in the C6 Gen section.

Thank you for the response.

I have been out of state since Thursday and am just reading the message now. I will proceed with caution and begin the disassembly process soon.

If you get to a spot you're not sure of, just shoot me a PM and I'll try to post up in this section for others to find in the future. I've had pretty much every piece out of my car including the dash and can tell you where to find the clips and how to pull and where.

All the trim around the edges of the car are held in place by clips and pins.

Thanks, Jay!

I plan on tackling this project on Saturday morning and will post up if I get to a point that I am unsure of. With the help of this forum, I am confident that there is nothing that cannot be conquered.

Question for the rear carpet.
it feels like it's held down by the two rear storage boxes. Are there clips?
I feel like something will break if I keep pulling on it.
