ATTEMPTED breakin!!!!
My community has experienced 6 attempted breakin's of cars in the last week. The suspected method was an electronic device that disables the security and ignition system, thereby leaving the battery dead. One car was in a locked garage. Each car had a dead battery except one, but that car, when scanned, the code indicated intrusion. Has anyone experienced anything like this or know of this method. This is a serious issue that we have shared with our police dept. and appreciate your help if possible.

Man, people are too high tech now. Whatever happened to busting the battery open with a screwdriver?
A good alarm with a backup battery and shock sensor/interior motion sensor would be the way to combat this.
