Original head unit swap
I just purchased a Alpine CDE 103BT standard size HU. I have a 98 convert and I just want to swap out the stock radio for a new radio, that's and it. I can get the radio out with no problem..but thats about all I know about audio. Great with changing mechanical parts but again I know zip about audio.
For starters, can anyone give me a list of parts that I am going to need. I would not like to have to cut any wires so I am open to buying any adapters to make this as easy as possible. I am assuming I will need an adapter from the original harness to the new radio and an adapter for the bose amp as well as a filler plate for the dash. Lastly, if anyone has a link to walk me through this that would be great. Greatly appreciated!!!
