DVD head Unit safety feature?
I bought the Clarion VZ400 head unit and it has the safety feature where you cant watch DVD's while driving. Thats fine and well for me, but not the passenger on a long trip. Any way to disable it?

Some HU used the parking brake circuit, The parking brake must be on, but a simple "workaround will defeat this. Other HU use GPS (nav) and can sense when the car is in motion,,, no dvd while moving. Again, there are workarounds for this, but GPS motion sensing is much more diffcult to defeat,
Find out how your head unit detects motion , if its the parking brake, its easy. do a search on CF info is all here
