hi all, been a while hope all is fine, i purchased the kenwood 8120 to put in my 2000 vette and i want to change the startup screen but cant seem to do it ive tried numerous times, i know i have to download the convert.dat file and i did, saved to desktop and try to open but have no program to open it except word pad and its a bunch of letters, i reset the unit and put the pic on usb, plugged in usb and found usb and found picture changed the picture and hit enter and it takes me back to the kenwood oem screen then re start and the kenwood startup screen is back, what do i need to do to get the file i need and how to open it and what to do with it once i get it, thanks guys hope someone can walk me thru this because im lost when it comes to files, or if someone has the file maybe post it for me..have a great day

The convert file needs to be on the USB drive along with your custom image.
