Adding CD Changer to 2002Z with Stock HU
I have a 2002Z with the stock HU with the cd player. The cd player gives the 'err' message whenever a cd is inserted. I took the radio apart and cleaned the laser but still no go. I would like to add the disc changer so I can play cd's. I have a couple of questions about this?
1) Will the stock HU control a disc changer?
2) Does it matter if I get the 'err' message? Will this have any impact on the HU's ability to control the changer?
3) What type of changers will work with the stcok HU? What type came in the cars?
4) What cable(s) do I need to connect the changer to the HU? I think all I need is the COR-HAR cable. Is that correct?
