Default Radio Setup

I just installed:

Pionner MVH 8200

CL-61A - CDT Audio Classic 6.5" 2-Way Component Speakers

http://www.woofersetc.com/p1090/CL61...t-Speakers.htm

Infinity REF475A

http://www.infinitysystems.com/car/p...=US&Region=USA

I am using monster rca's and speaker wires and rockford amp kit.

I have everything installed and just want to know how to wire the speakers to the amp. I don't want to blow the speakers also what do i set the gain and low pass/high pass all that crap at. On the head unit i'm using the auto eq. I just need help fine tuning it in should I bridge the amp or not what is RMS blah blah.

Thanks

Mario

Assuming you only have this and don't plan to install a subwoofer, I'd bridge the speaker connections (usually 1,2 and 3,4) This will give you 180w per channel.

Here's setting the gains easy w/o special equipment or tuning discs

Once hooked up, turn the gains to zero and the volume on your head unit to full power. Put in a CD of whatever music you listen to that's loud and powerful. slowly raise the gains on the amp until you hear it start to distort, then back off just a tad.

I have my amp bridged, input at 50, right between 32-80hz, bass all the way down.

My head unit i am using the powerful eq setting, loudness off, sla off.

I came from memphis audio components and I am going back.

Ill sell you these for $130 shipped if you like them that much they are 4hrs old!

Mario
