Phone (Audio) Interrupt
I'm installing a new bluetooth equipped Nav radio in my C5 and am a bit confused about a brown wire on the radio called the Phone Interrupt. I know this has something to do with the bluetooth phone, but am not quite sure how it works. The manual says the following: "Connecting the Phone Interrupt Terminal. The phone interrupt will mute the audio if the lead receives a negative or ground signal". This seems to say that I should connect this lead to ground, but I don't understand where the signal comes from to mute the receiver. Does it come from the cell phone? Any help would be appreciated.

Got to the Audio FAQ area and look at SteveL2's instructions for installing a Parrot. In it he has found your answer. It is the white wire described in his instructions with the use of a SPDT relay.
