Rear Mount Battery, Gremlins, Fix
I had to relocate the battery to the rear of my Z06 after the TT install. I have noticed for a while that I would have intermittent gremlins. I used the seat bolt as the anchor for the ground side.
The voltage would normally hover @ 12.5 ish. maybe a lil more or less depending on what all was running. Well yesterday I decided to change my ground location to the frame. Before volts 12.9 after volts 13.8 . So for anyone relocating their battery, ground to the frame directly.
I ran the cable out the side of the rear box and drilled a hole in the frame for a large self tapping bolt. Scored up some raw metal the impacted the bolt in place. Im not saying this is the cure all to elec gremlins but considering how many grounds we have depending on a good connection, it is defiantly on the right track.
Im going to add a few more grounds from the engine to frame just for good measure. Hope this helps someone out there.
