Stock system no changes! Powerful hum and engine whine!
2005 with complete stock audio with nav. Have developed a loud whine and hum out of the front right door speaker. Even when I turn the car off, until I open door. Intermittent after hitting bumps. Have read other posts and will remove door panel. Am I looking for a SHORT or LOOSE GROUND? Any other pointers woul help. Thanks

I suspect you'll see a loose connection at the speaker/harness.
You may not. You may have a small cut in the speaker line that could be anywhere between the speaker and the head unit. Although, I'd look in the door first.
Hopefully just as simple as refastening a loose harness.
