Just a heads up to some of you all interested in putting in amp in your ride. There is alot of talk going around about Shark amplifiers. I don't sell them or anything nor do I have any affiliation with them, just thought i'd throw it out there to you all. They've been getting pretty good reviews over on the car audio fourms.

I'm about to do a install on my C6, and am considering one or two of these. I've heard of a 300 watt mono version but i've yet to find anything more about it or where to buy one at
That's pretty bad, actually. Maybe not a deal-breaker for most people, but not a "clean" amplifier.
Are the power ratings realistic?
Apparently so. Talk on the street that this is the same buildhouse as Powerbass ASA series. And judging from the case on it I lean towards that as well.
If size is important to you but cost is secondary, check out the MB Quart Reference and SoundStream Stealth lines. They aren't much bigger than this, but have power numbers you can trust and better acoustical performance. Whether the improved sound is noticeable only you can judge. (I'm sensitive to "noisy" amps.) Price is higher, but they are still what most people would consider reasonably priced.
