Anyone know of these,? The Eclispe head unit comes with another unit, a balanced line adaptor. Models are:
Head unit: CD8062 &
Balanced Line Adaptor: 37601
Not sure of the model speakers, but its Dynaudio brand.
Supposed to be ULTRA clean. I am thinking about a complete re-do on my sound system......And these were recommended.
They also recommended the JL 10" drop-in sub, with a single JL 5 channel amp.
I think its the 500-5. Opinions please....
Re: Dyne Audio & Eclipse 16 volt head unit? (indypace78)
I've been using dyn's in my home for years and getting ready to put them in my vette. They are one FANTASTIC speaker. But, they need the correct amp to drive them!
What specifically would you like to know about them?
Re: Dyne Audio & Eclipse 16 volt head unit? (indypace78)
I got the JL Audio stealth box sub and it sounds awesome to me! It's being powered by a PPI PCX 5800 and it rocks! I'm running MBQuarts in the front but I'm switching them to a/d/s 346is as soon as I can get them.

Hi guys :seeya ....you too Ellis( remember Carlisle? :) ).
I hope too improve the sound system without getting taken for a ride. Too many times the sales guys don't take a girl seriously...or they just talk to my b@@bs.
Anyway...one of our respected Forum audiofiles has 'poo-poo'd' the tweeter AND 'small' (anything under 8") woofer components in the door. Yet I see that its the 'norm' as far as the C-5 owners go. Opinions???

NRage ...
I just ordered the Dynaudio 240 MkII components for my '01 C5 and I can't wait! You gotta have enough amp power to drive them though. Unfortunately, you have to ditch the Bose head unit or find a really good installer to be able to attach awesome amps and speakers to it. It's a world of difference.
