Default How many feet?

I'm mounting the amp on the back wall of my coupe. Going to be running wires to the doors for the mids,a pillars for the tweeters and from the headunit to the rear speakers. For you guys who have done a ton of installs, how many feet of speakers wire should I order?

Thanks guys.

Lance
I used approx. 60ft for all my speakers but I have my amps mounted behind my seats. I would say if you get 100 ft I used 14ga. all around you should be good. I always say buy more wire because you dont want to be installing and then find out that you dont have enough.
Parts express and Monoprice has some good prices on wire.
Good luck.

You can spend a ton on speaker wire or get decent wire for cheap and be fine, I used Wire King on my $20k system because it was fine

You can buy wire at Walmart(I try not to shop there, mainly just buy oil) in spools for decent prices and it is ok to use.

Measure and add at least 20% for each wire, you want some slack as tucking it in here and there really sucks up the length, to short sucks!

I run 16 to tweeters, 14 to mids unless high powered then 12 gauge but it depends on the length, the longer the wire or higher the power, the heavier the gauge needed.

I am installing high output midbasses in my truck, 250 watts feeding them, running 10 gauge to them to be sure.

Home Depot actually has pretty good prices on decent speaker wire. In my local store they have the wire separated into good/better/best on the shelf. 100' of 16G "better" is only $20.

Just get OFC wire and you will be fine.

Oxygen Free Copper

but I would not run 16 to mids unless really short runs
