Default Need rear hatch ideas

Post up your pics for the C6 - I am looking to be as unobtrusive/invasive as possible.

I am building a stealth install for a C6. I am using the factory head, modified, to digital out, an eternal D/A, digital processing (time alignment, DEQ, D Xover, D phasing), front stage will be Focal 2 way, no rears, and a single, flat sub. All active system (so 5 channels of amplification) - Zapco 4.0 (circa 2002) and Zapco 9.0 (circa 2002) for amplification.

I am looking for photos depicting creative use of the space down into the trunk (cubby holes, dead space in the car), not so much for the built up trunk look. The lower I can get the additional weight in the car the happier I will be.

I need behind the scenes pics as I have yet to take the car all the way apart. Schematics/structural cutaway pics of a C6 would help me immensely. I will stress that the stereo system is going to be built to be as light as possible and virtually invisible if I have it my way.

My frame of reference is that of being a very active IASCA competitor from 1991 - 2002 as well as SQ judge. I am not looking to make a bass heavy monster but I am all about great sound (at high volumes). This is definitely not my first rodeo......

Thanks in advance.

There's a bit of room by the fuse box if you pull out the oem amp, but there really isn't any hidden room under the carpet in the trunk.

Your best bet for a truly invisible install would probably be if you installed everything so the floor of the hatch area is raised up to the level of the lip behind the seats. Put a new carpet over the gear and hide the sub in a corner under the oem hatch cover and nobody will know it's there just fom a quick peek in the windows.

That is the general thought process. I have a twist or two on that but that is the general format.
