Default Thoughts on MB Quart sub and Alpine amp

I'm not interested in spending a lot of coin but would like a little more "punch" with the bass while utilizing the factory head/nav and factory speakers. I am considering building a small box for the rear compartment of my C6 Z06 retaining the function of the storage box and access to the battery. I'm looking at the MB Quart RLP254 10" sub (shallow mount sub only needs about .4 to .65 cu ft box) powered by an Alpine MRP-M500 (mono class D amp, 300x1 @ 4ohm, 500x1 @ 2ohm). I was pleased with the 10" Alpine type R sub and Alpine amp that I installed in my C5Z. I'm still deliberating over using the JL Stealthbox - but I'd like to keep the use of the storage cubby and not cut my cargo mat. Regardless, anyone have experience with either the MB Quart sub and/or the Alpine amp? Thanks in advance.

Check out subthump.com. They make a box for the C6Z with the MB Quart sub loaded. They are quick to respond to any questions you might have. Good luck.

I have owned 4 different MB Quart subs... in my opinion they are a good sub for the money, I've never had any issues with them.
