brighter taillite bulbs?
I have blacked out taillites on my C6, not the add on lens types. They look great on the black vette. Problem is they really dim the brake lites when I hit the brakes.
anyone know of any other type of bulb, besides the OEM ones, that I can use that will put out more lumens?

Option - I bought the red lens "Eagle Eyes" LED tail lights on fleabay, tinted them with tint paint from Autozone, then clearcoated. They are brighter than stock, but the tint is not real dark (two coats). They don't have the BLACK out look of some lenses, but I think they look good with my CG paint.

Check out V-LED's for their V-Star LED 'bulb'. They're available in red or white.
Of course you'll have to add load resistors if you don't want the hyper-flashing turn signals.
