No voice from Nav

No voice from Nav

I have done this and I still don't get any voice for directions on my Nav.
. Press the NAV hard key to access the map screen.
2. Press the MENU screen button on the map screen.
3. Press the "Navigation Set Up" screen button.
4. Press the "Guidance Volume" screen button.
5. Select the desired volume or select Off. The system will play back the new volume level.
Voice

What should I do? I think I should also get directions on my DIC????

I've never had an oem nav unit, so can't help with the voice, but I do know that it shows up only on the HUD, not the DIC.

I know there is a setting for nav without voice but can't remember how to turn it on or off. Did you check the sticky at the top of the General forum about the nav instructions?

I got it working and yes it only shows up on the HUD. Stupid mistake by me and to proud to not mention what I did. Enjoy the NAV.
