Ok, going to put in a amp in my 2008 C6 and was looking around the battery to identify where to run the power wire, as I understand it my options are use the factory bundle or drill a hole but as I was looking around I say this,
Its right to the inboard of the battery at about the level of the top of the battery. It looks like a unused hole and grommet but I am not sure, anyone have any ideas what this is? (more pics)

Can you see the other side of that from the inside? If it's blank in there too you can punch through it and use it but it look really high up and on the inside that would be way up under the dash. On my 05 I had to take the battery out and use the one that has a bundle of wire going through it already. Getting a 4gauge wire through there was actually the hardest part of my install.

That would most likely have a bolt sticking though to the other side. I removed a bunch of them on my race car project. Sorry, doubt it is something you can use, quite sure of it actually.
