Default 2009 nav unit work in a 2008 ???
Will a stock navagation unit from a 2009 vette work in a 2008 z06?Thanks for any help

No it wont. All 2009 up with navigation will have bluetooth and the unit itself has different software to talk to car. The units that will work with your car are 2005-2008. There are four different units for our cars. 05-08, 09, 10, and now 2011 with updates for usb

Will a 2005 2006 unit installed in a steering wheel controlled car have working steering wheel controlls?

Is this just a software update that can be flashed? or is it completly diffrent hardware?, because I believe the USB support is done in a secondary box like a PAL
