Yes Sir! Got a pair for chistmas. LOVE em' and while I didn't know they were $40, I would happily replace them if lost. I mostly use them when running or I need a short vacation at work. I'd say the best feature aside from the SQ is the noise cancelling factor.
Like most things related to Monster, seriously overpriced for the performance, but if you are a bass head, it may be the way to go. If you don't at least have lossless MP3's loaded, it might not matter much for the $400 Beats vs $80 Grado's or Senn's anyway.
Beats make you look cool, as most people know they cost a lot of cheddar.
Tons to be had that are better performing though for way less money. Check out head-fi.org, just be careful, there are some people there that are drowning in the "expensive cable is better" koolaid.
Dre beats are by monster cable so huge mark up and great marketing. They have noise cancel and are heavy on the bass. My son wants a pair and they are geared towards the younger crowd. He sees his favorite sports stars wearing them, so of course he has to have them. Like Kale said, "audiophiles" prefer Sennheiser in music reproduction over the beats.

I would be actually be listening to the likes of R.E.M. and Morrissey with them so the bass is not the most important aspect. I am looking for the "best" out there for the $$$$$.......sort of like the corvette is the best sports car for the money Where should I look for these Sennheiser headphone's??
I prefer REM on my Grados over my Sennheisers. Grados seem to do really well with that type of music - and they do well without headphone amps if that is a concern.

I just got a set of Yamaha EPH-50 from Newegg for $29.95 shipped. Some of the reviews said they were a bit bass heavy, and even compared them to the Dr Dre set. I am very happy with them, they sound much better to me than the standard iPod ones.
Their are multiple different headphones, if you enjoy heavier bass and don't mind the price the studios by dre are probably the best. The cons would have to be it takes batteries to use and there is a on/off switch so there will be multiple times you will leave it running only to drain your battery. The next best thing would be the solo's by dre cheaper and they don't totally cover the ear. Very sound cancelling and does not take batteries nor have a on/off switch. I would also suggest which ever Headphone you get, get on sale. I have used both and love both of them alot, just need to spend any extra money I have on my vette
I'm not an audiophile but when I was looking for some quality headphones at a reasonable price I read some great consumer reviews about some Audio-technica headphones so I ordered them. I think they were around $100. To my ears they are fantastic. I can hear sounds and clarity that I haven't heard before.

I have a pair of those
I only take them on airplanes, and they stay in my suitcase, so I always forget about them. Mine are the ATH-ANC7 model, had them for about five years now. One AAA battery lasts at least 4 round trips from the east coast to Vegas and back, I love 'em!
i abosolutly love mine i have bought a studio headphone as a package last week that shop http://www.allgoods.us/ so gave the monster tour to my wife as it was in the package.
