Need AMP help C6
Hello
A friend of mine just traded in his car and took out the audio system right before hand.
Its a sealed JL box 2 10w0v2

and a JL e1400D which came with no wires.

Anyway I thought I would put this in for a while until I can get my custom box done.
Anyway long story I have Power, and Ground Wire done along with the
audio through

What I can't figure out is how to do the remote wire. Thanks for your help.

The trigger wire coming out of the stock radio for the OEM amplifier is white wire at B3 location on the stock amp plug. I would check in the passenger foot well and see if there is a wire coming off of this harness.
If not you can tap it here and run one yourself

I've used both the add a fuse to the seat heater in the footwell and the B3 white wire in my vettes. I like the white wire at B3 better. It retains RAP so the system stays on after ignition is turned off until you open the door. Only down side is that amps are turned on as soon as you open the door. Seat heater turns on with ignition.

You can rig up a relay and a few diodes to get the best of both worlds. The diodes will only let the coil be turned on by switched power from the fuse tap, but it won't turn off until B3 goes out with RAP.
