wire harness again
when i take out the bose unit there are two harnesses ........the adapter has 4 units on it and it doesn't seem like it fits...... also i see people writing about the hu and receiver what's the difference and where is it.....i am doing something wrong ......gonna install all aftermarket sound to it.....but want to be able to go back to bose in case of selling.....thanks your help is appreciated

There are two harnesses from the bose. One goes to the power, the other to the speaker/amps. If you are removing the bose entirely, you want the adapter that plugs into the one with power. If you are using the bose speakers and amps, you need an adapter that goes to both that converts the power of the radio to the correct levels. Audiolink has them I believe.

If your adapter is similar to the one I had, you have to plug it in near the receiver, not the head unit. I believe the receiver on a '90 is under the dash on the passengers side. Maybe someone else can confirm.
