So I am completely gutting my 2003 Z06's stock blows stereo system. Doing a custom install myself. Got a double din Pioneer, components in front, new rear speakers, sub, couple amps. You know, the works. Its been a loooooong time since I have messed with stereo equipment so I have a question for you audiophiles.
Head Unit RMS rating = 22 watt X 4 @ 4 ohm
Amp RMS rating = 50 watt x 4 @ 4 ohm or 150 watt bridged
Front Components RMS = 100 @ 4 ohm
Rear Speakers RMS = 25 watt x 4 @ 4 ohm
My original thought was to just run my rear speakers off the head unit and then bridge my amp to run the front. If this a good idea or should I use the amp to run front and rear speakers?
Dennis, I will be calling you monday about a stealth box to add to my order when you get my bezel done. I will possibly be purchasing a sub from you too. Don't want to spend an arm and a leg ya know.
