The most likely problem is that the inerface adapter went bad, but there are lots of possibilities.
C6 radio schematics are available HERE, make sure you checked all of the fuses that supply the radio, amp, and speakers.
If the fuses are good, you'll have to take the dash apart and check the adapter for +12v at pin B3 of the oem plug when the radio is on. If the trigger is good coming out of the radio, but not present at B3 pin, then you can splice a wire in to fix the problem (assuming you don't know where the adapter was purchased to get a new unit).
OEM amp is to the left of the fuse box under the passengers feet, but that probably isn't the issue.

One quick thing to check, doe the radio sound work if selected to FM?
Dealer may not be too willing to solve problem if it's in aftermarket gear, but if they sold you the car it may help.

That makes it sound like a loose wire, but it could still be the adapter. Either way you can most likely fix it in under an hour if you pull the dash apart and have the needed parts available for the fix. Best case scenario you'd need a few butt-splice connectors and maybe about a foot of single strand wire.

Its not to hard to get access to the HU just follow the instruction already posted to remove the center console bezal, the first time you do it you won't want to pull on it hard enough, at least I did not want to, but it does pull out without breaking anything just do it slow and don't jerk if off from the bottom or you could snap it. The biggest issue I had was with the shift ****. I have a auto and had put the car in drive to get the bezal off. BE careful to not strach the shift **** I warped mine in blue tape just to be careful
