2011's have a USB input 
If you're asking about the 3.5mm plug that looks like a headphone jack, you need a cable with a plug on each end that looks like a headphone plug. Plug it into the radio and the headphone jack on any MP3 player, start the player, then hit the CD/Aux button to get it to play (it may start automatically).
