A pair of seperates would sound the best.
Get 5.25 seperates if you dont want to cut the door, run the tweeters up high. The sound will mix together nicely.
Seperates = more accurate sound
two sets of speakers = more noise

Thanks I'll check into that. What brand would you recomend?
I always reccommend Focal Utopia - it's the best to my ears - but your ears may be different. MBQuarts is good, Dynaudio is pretty good, but lacks depth and warmpth, I hear Diamond Audio's are excellent for the price.

I already have a pair of Infinity 5.25. I think I'll put those in the doors then run some tweeters up high like you said. How should I run the tweets ? In the stock dash location or I was thinking of going up high by the visors or in the side molding.

I’m running Image Dynamics CXS62’s in my doors. They are 2-ohm 6.5” mids. I have Image Dynamics NXS tweets and 4” mids in the dash. That is all I run up front. In the rear I have two 10” RFP3810 Fosgate subs running at 4-ohm mono with Alpine 6x9’s in the well area just for mild rear fill when I need it. Everything is crossed over with a DX-28 3-way electronic crossover and run off of two Fosgate 400.4 and 500.2 amps. An Alpine Head Unit completes the package. The sound quality is sweet and I didn’t have to cut a thing to make it fit. I’ll put some pics up as soon as they are developed.
