'78 C3 speaker help
What speakers should I run in the dash? Should I install some kick panel speakers? How about in the rear? I have a set of Rockford Fosgate 6 x 9 Twins. Should I even use them in the rear?
I have a sub box ready to go loaded with two 10's. The whole system will be powered by two Rockford Fosgate amps. A Power 500A2 will power the subs and a Punch 400A4 will power the rest of the system. I think that should be plenty power for a small car. If not, I also have a Power 1000DB ready to go.LOL
A big thanks to Rick from RAAM Audio for all the help with sound deadening. I can't believe how much more solid the doors sound. I haven't had a chance to drive the car yet because it is still in pieces. I bet the road noise is gone if it is anything like the doors. Anyone looking to get rid of road noise, get ahold of Rick and he can help.
Any help on the speakers would be greatly appreciated. I am unsure as to what speakers fit and which ones work in our cars.
Thanks,
Lance

Are those Polk speakers shallow mounts or is there enough room behind those panels? This is my first Vette and I haven't taking those panels off as of yet. How much depth is behind the panels?
Thanks for the replies.

Also ck. link in post #4. This is where the procedure started. Thank you DB. Rest in peace. LOL...
Also install the pass. side speaker upside down. This provides clearance for the wiring terminals. Follow the directions in the first link exactly. It is really close but I made it work so I think just about anybody can. Post here or PM me if you have any questions. mike...
