C4 Bose Speaker Replacement

C4 Bose Speaker Replacement
I have an 91 C4 with stock Bose Cassette Deck and Bose Speakers. Front Speakers went out a year or so ago and now the rear speakers will not play. My question is can I replace the speakers with aftermarket speakers or would I have to replace the Head unit also. Would like to keep head unit and just do away with the Bose speakers if it is possible.

First, read the C4 FAQ at the top of the section. The easiest thing to do is to just get the speaker amps repaired by Dr Don's. May as well send the head unit as well, he can concert it to play MP3s.

Thanks for the info on Doctors Don's. I am going to call and get a quote from them to repair the Bose speakers. Depending on that $, I'll decide what to do. I would like to keep the original radio, but not enough to pay big money.
