anyone interested i am selling the jl stealthboxes for c6 convertible and kenwood xr-1s amp for a great deal
if interested PM me directly
I've got an 09 C6 Z51. How much are you asking and what city are you in? Can you send pictures? In addition to your box/amp combo, I'm interestred in finding out if the Polk db 521 will fit in the rear panel. Do you know anyone that has dropped those in without needing to modify? I have the base system.

Yes, the will fit right in.
I was just looking at those and found that they are installed in the rear of C6's quite often.
Thank you very much. It seems as though half of the vette owners out there believe there is no real value in even having the rear speakers hooked up. I'm installing the db 351s in the door today and disconnecting the dash speaker to see if this improves the sound.

That will help
Re removing the rears, the stock setup isn't really designed for that (not powerful enough). If you install a sub in the trunk and replace the oem door setup with a component speaker set that has a powerful amp driving it, then the rears aren't needed, and some believe it sounds better without them.

Thanks. I'll provide feedback concerning just replacing the door spkrs and disconnecting the dash.
