Im wanting to upgrade the stereo system in my truck (2001 Silverado) and I have never done one before. Im good with electronics (work on computers for a living) but I don't want to make any mistakes.
Can anyone recommend a website or a company that maybe does kits? Whats the story on the Crutchfield stuff? Anyone have a good or bad comment on Crutchfield for an audio newbie??
Im thinking head unit...speakers all the way around and an amp or two.

Crutchfield sucks. Schosche makes some good kits. Not sure of the exact spelling. I would go to a sterio shop and compare a few. Good ones usually have a couple of different makes in stock. Since its not a blose, just get a harness and it should go right in. Use crimps, not tape.
