Very good ... I bet the sound is much better now that your leg doesn't block the speaker  What was GM thinking??
I would be interested in a general description of how you modified the door shell and panel. If I remember your's is an '89, so you already had a hole there correct? I don't know if my '91 door shell is the same.
That makes me wonder what it would take to put a 3 way system in . (7" in the rail, 5.25 in the door, tweet up top)
Hmn..
What kind of tweeter is that? You might ha ve trouble hearing it from there. I tried to put mine there, and it muffled it a lot.

It is a Orion HCCA Tweeter, Comes with the HCCA 5s seperates I have.
I have the angle mount piece there and it is pointing up towards me.. I also thought the same thing of being muffled, But I decided that the panel I cut is better then cutting in other spots of the doorpanel..

Yes I have an 89.. the door holes were there.. I did not have speakers in the rails.. I would like to install a 6.5" in the rails but I really don't want to cut the glass there
