650x is 'coax', which means tweeter is mounted on top of mid/woofer.
650 is 'component', which means tweeter is separated, you mount it on it's own (it can be aimed where you like it).
For rears get coax, for doors get components

Thanks for the reply.Where have other guys been mounting the tweeter if its seperate? Do these just bolt in or is there a plate you need to get to mount these.

I have the C5-650 components in my C6 doors. They are a sweet sounding speaker.

Just be aware that you need to power components with an aftermarket amp or they don't sound very good, and if you remove the oem door subs you will have a serious lack of bass if you don't add a real sub in the trunk.

Do your research and educate yourself before installing coax speakers in your doors. Maybe they'll be "OK" for your rears as fill only, that's about all they're good for.
Though it's easier to install, the tweeter sitting in the path of the sound waves will muffle and distort the pure sound wave...
if you are SERIOUSLY concerned about sound quality, coaxial speakers are NEVER a good idea. If you don't know any better, they will sound far better than stock.
There is a reason you will NEVER find a set of coaxial speakers in a serious audiophile's or S.Q. competition vehicle. The only support you'll find on their use is from people who don't know any better, and have already installed them.
I know I'm going to get hated on for saying this, but it's the truth, 100%.
