2011 gs 9980hd install ?
my installer told me in on order for the os-2c-bose to work correctly i have the factory radio in the car some where. its because i have blue tooth. Has anyone dealt with this before?

there is no other option right now.
The radio has bluetooth in it your going to use anyways not the stock BT
you can make this work
just use some GLI's and do not retain the steering wheel controls
if you do retain the SWC you will want to use a pac swi harness not the metra as well. The metra reads the kenwood as a different head unit. So you need to use a resistor to set the settings then remove it.
pac or metra harness is same right now on the 2011 and both have issues. The metra one I would never recommend anyways
you can get this to work with the os2cbose
i would skip the onstar myself and put in the c2r-gm24
